A lot of people have asked if I could supply the Little Pinkie PSU with IEC chassis inlet sockets in order that they can feed the Little Pinkie with exotic mains cords. The answer is now "yes" All Little Pinkie PSUs will now come with UL, VDE, SEV, SEMKO, DEMKO and NEMKO approved IEC sockets as standard:
The enclosure remains the same good quality compact and robust ABS type.... I could house the PSU in an all singing all dancing aluminium enclosure but this would mean a price increase (with no sonic gain) and would also lead to increased shipping costs due to the additional weight.
I may be introducing a "statement" limited edition Little Pinkie in due course featuring high quality LED tipped toggle switches (the end of the switch illuminates when you switch it on) and uber expensive components but it will sound no different from the Standard Little Pinkie but will satisfy the urges of those who require that little bit more "bling" It will be double the price so I doubt I'll sell many ;D Full details to appear shortly.
Back to the standard Little Pinkie......... as well as the IEC socket it will now also come with Deltron 650 professional series chassis mount DIN sockets featuring a Single hexagonal brass nut fixing, a nickel-plated brass body incorporating an anti-rotational locating spigot and Silver-plated brass contacts.
Din plug that mates to the X-CAN v3 (or X-10v3 etc.) will be the Deltron 610 professional series DIN plug. Robust construction professional DIN plugs, incorporating cable clamp and strain relief. Fully screened nickel-plated zinc housing.
There may be the occasional variation (dependant on parts availability) but all Little Pinkies will come with the best available part in stock at the time. There will be no change in price even though the component cost has greatly increased.
Pictures to appear shortly......
