I've just finished a lot of the X-can V3 mods, including new valves. I'm really delighted with the transformation. With my HD650s all the 'soft base' is away and much cleaner sound. But the final recommendation is to remove the 10uf capacitors if no DC offset is present in my output device. I have Musical Fidelity A3 and Bi-amp A308CR amps. How do I tell if they have Dc offset or not?
thanks

Check like this but probe the outputs of the equipment to be connected to the V3 input (ie probe each channel between ground and signal) see here: www.rock-grotto.co.uk/dcoffset.htm
