I have a Little Pinkie PSU for both my V2 and my V3. Will I need them in order to use these tubes, or can I use these tubes with the regular wall wart? Hit the buy it now button in the link Benny points to.... ask questions later. Best used with Little Pinkie or a PSU with a supply >1500mA I , personally, wouldn't run them with the stock 500mA wart YMMV

The shiny version you are looking at is commonly known as a "chrome plate". Nickle plated from memory. Just be aware that they may not be plated at all. Siemens & Mazda (France) are the most famous of the chrome plate lineup

Siemens & Mazda (France) are the most famous of the chrome plate lineup And invariably the most expensive yet not the best sounding

Yep that's a chrome plate, the boxed section looks uncoated as well.
