Some of these guys sell "pulls" out of equipment and call them NOS others sell brand new, never used..... Glad you found some good ones Benny.

Could also be legit mike.Look at all the NOS tubes still available from the UK and US and WE stopped production waaaaay before the russians did which says there has to be a damn lot of NOS tubes stashed away in wharehouses there. Not sure what the MIGs use now but any rational thinker would still have vacuum tubes in ALL military hardware and sensitive communications or with a single air blast nuke the entire machine will be taken down in a single blow including fighters/bombers flying blind and with no way to receive orders and that would be scary

That's what I was saying Rick... some of the unscrupulous sellers will sell you "pulls" and claim they are new. Others will sell you ones that have never been out of the box. Benny was saying his latest batch sounded better than the others, I was merely suggesting his last batch may have been used tubes.

Just listening to a pair of 6H1N-EB (rocket logo 1980 vintage chrome pins, military grade, long life) and wow, these are night and day over the stock 6922. Came in their original cartons, haven't been touched in 27 years and once they get an hour under their belt they're superb
