A while back, there was a thread somewhere on this forum with a series of pictures showing you how to construct a "Little Pinkie" PSU. Although I don't have an X-Can, I made a mental note of it because it showed how to wire up a transformer to get a "xv-0-xv" AC output.
I've searched, but I can't find it anywhere. Has it been deleted?

Dog ate it  Actually that is a bit twilight zonish since I KNOW I have never deleted a single thread and I doubt mike has in the last year (I remember you trying to remove EVERY POST EVER MADE at headfi and tried to talk you out of it to no avail but to YOUR surprise had archived your posts for when reason again set in  ) |

At that time it was about 7,000 posts and I planned on sitting up all night deleting every last one of them  jesus I'd still be there now hitting the delete button, not a quick process deleting 7,000 threads manually |
