Hi everyone.

PinkFloyd - Thanks for your site.. a great resource - I had the courage to swap the valves in my xcans and it was a great improvement!

I'm looking into making my own x-psu, however you have several guides and modifications.. did you ever decide which one was the best? Its not apparent which one to go for.

Anyway, thanks for the guides!

Yes, I would be interested in that too. I have an original X-CANS an have experimented with several valves but never a PSU. Apart from the obvious potential sonic benefits, I will be pleased to have an on/off switch. Valves only sound good for 4000-5000 hours after which they sound pretty ordinary.

Anyone using after-market cables with their Sennheisers?
