So I was looking for a "cheap" source for SOIC to DIP adapters and I stumble across Spark Fun and man,I gotta say I am 100% impressed with the product lineup AND the prices. for instance. This is a measley $3 This a joke ? If not my days of cobbing together prototypes on friggin perf boards is histor ! how about SSOP to 8-Pin DIP adapters for $1.95 ! www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=497#a whole damn page of reasonably priced what looks to be quality adapters and a life savor for some of us tired of paying high prices or getting the "out of stock" crap for the reasonably priced. www.sparkfun.com/commerce/categories.php?cPath=20Yes,I know about Brown dog but still nice to have options and this joint has a serious linup of the offbeat/unusual/hard to find product I'm still trying to con myself into a reason to purchase a couple of these guys : www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=682or this one www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=683Handheld RTA ? When I saw the title of this thread I had visions of you in the dark shorting out a mains cable.... "crack!" "ooooh, what fun look at the pretty sparks" "Crack!" "wow, this is fun" "crack!" BBBzzZZzzZZzzZZzzZZzzzzzzzz............................. Turns out you weren't playing with live wire and have found, yet another, good resource. Nice one Rick
