Just for appearance or any sonic advantages to be gained by these glass beads?
I, personally, can't think of any sonic reasons to go "beaded" but I'm open to enlightenment. A ferrite bead attached to a zero ohm link will, in places, subdue RFI and other nasties but this glass bead?? What does it do / what do you think it does?
Remember I'm the guy who dared try a free sample of rainbow foil (http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=69010) so I'm fair game for any new age "tweeks"

I used glass because its immune to the heat generated by my iron, and colored red and black for positive and negative. The little bag of beads I bought had a wide range of colors though. No bead would surely work just as well. It just looked cool to me.

reminds me of the Keystone Electronics test points www.keyelco.com/products/sprod03.asp?CategoryID=13I use many keystone products and find some unique to keyatone plus the prices for every product are in line with "hobbyist" or "DIYer" rather than the inflated "Audiophile" prices asked by most.
