Here's some pictures of my completed ISOL-8 mains filter modification: www.tdsf.co.uk/Xfeed/Mains.htmlAs usual, many thanks to Rick for the help and advice. I rubber mounted the transformers in the case, which is quite flimsy, and I was worried thet the whole thing woud buzz and hum like V8. With some trepidation I switched everything on; no sparks, no puffs of smoke, so far so good. I pressed my ear to the case and the faintest hum can just about be heard from the transformers, but nothing to worry about and it is undetectable from any distance. I didn't finish putting everything together until fairly late in the evening, so I haven't had a chance to have a really good listen, but initial results are very encouraging. There seems to be more space and better imaging, in particular there seems to be more depth to the soundstage with instruments and vocals clearly infront or behind one another. Top end seems very clean, cymbals sound great, just like, er, cymbals. ;D
