Looking through Hi-Fi World at the weekend I came across a review which included the Revolver phono preamp as part of the system. I wondered what improvements had been made to make it worth the £129 rsp. Looking at it externally it appears to be exactly the same as a TCC preamp which can probably bought for less than half the price. The only difference was that it was Revolver badged as far as I could see. So is this another case of rip off Britain or is it possible that there were some improvements under the hood? If so why didn't the review mention them and if not then why not alert possible buyers that it is possible to get the item elsewhere without the Revolver badge. In fact why not just review the TCC amp?

Usually will be a higher specs stuff just liked when I manufactured disc drives for IBM long time ago. They may look the same but technically those IBM dirves are better drives. Well, u can also email Hifi World to find out more. Let us know if u have any news.
