Thorens TD166

The missus uncle gave me an old Thorens TD166 TT that seems to have a TD150 platter.

I've heard a lot of TT's but no bugger all about them.
Would it be worth rigging this Thorens up, maybe tweaking it etc? after all the recent mentioning of TT's thought I'd give it a go
