I don't use anything. Surely putting crap in your ears is bad?

Hey, what's the turntable? Looks like a Rega with a Roksan arm? True! But back to Ear Tweaks. I'm not putting anything into my ears. This gear is to remove the shit that builds up inside them, you know? Hard wax that eventually causes people to go deaf or not hear what's there if it isn't removed. But then again, hard wax does protect the eardrums from LOUD distorted sound - everything has its purpose.

Ear candles look interesting, you actually tried it Mike? Yes, they are great but get an assistant to hold them it's a bit awkward doing it yourself.

Early last year I went to the doctors as my hearing seems really bad in one ear. Feels like I have something in their blocking it up, I tried all sorts of things from the chemist to sort it out. Any way the doctor made an appointment for me to go to the hospital, as she said I had water in the inner ear affecting my hearing. I was told it could be sorted out and full hearing would be restored. I have to buy amps with balance/duel volume pots to compensate so as to get good stereo, if not it all seems to be happening in the left speaker, although headphones do not affect so much.
I went to the hospital and had a real serious hearing test in a sound proofed room, and then a check over by the doctor. I was informed the inner ear water problem was a wrong diagnosis, and that I had what they would call pretty much perfect hearing. I explained to them about the HIFI thing, and was told I was confusing deafness in one ear as opposed to having better hearing in the other the ear. Apparently it is very common and most people do not have completely balanced hearing. They have a frequency range between 2 points, and if both your ears come with in this range, but not necessarily at the same point it is still considered perfect hearing.
