I own a pair of KEF Corelli speakers from the early 70's (original owner) and have a burned out T-27 tweeter. Has anyone knowledge of a dealer for the driver or found a decent replacement for the T-27 that was used in so many models by so many British speaker designs of the period?
I live in the States and will be calling Madisound for their opinions, but I wonder if anyone has a lead (besides E-Bay) on the old driver.
Thanks, John

No worries, as KEF North America has re-coning kits for the tweeters. Bought one, yay.

Yes, mrarroyo, I can do it! I hope!
From what KEF NA told me today it's the suspension, voice coil, and cone, so we'll see what she looks like. I've got the speaker apart, and there are no clips as the wires go directly into the voice coil, so I'll have to snip them about 6 inches out, and crimp, or any ideas?
KEF NA (that's North America) have the rebuild kit for the famed B-110 as well. Now, to find a pair. I'd love to build an LS3-5A type. Mini monitors are the next best thing to headphones.
One other bit, the T-27 denotes "tweeter 27mm" not a model #. The correct model is KEF 1032. Just as the B-110 is "bass 110mm". I did not know that before KEF NA told me today.
Wish me luck, and I'll post my progress, here.
