Loved MF X series since being introduced to it by my best friend Dee. Unfortunately he’s not here to advise me anymore so here I am. I have owned and loved the x-a1 for years. I’ve wanted to upgrade but keep my system x series gear. Got a great deal on a pair of x-a200 last year and have been loving the power increase with my bi amped b&w’s.
I wanted to know am I missing a lot by using my old x-a1 as a pre amp rather than something more suited, ie the x-p100, how much better would the system be? Also I’ve read a lot about upgrades for the x series is there anything I should definitely do?
