Hey guys,
Was hoping someone here could be of some help. Few years ago I blew a capacitor in my can (got it powered down asap) and just finally got around to working on it. Ordered the upgrade kit and everything went smooth, no issues installing. Can not get any sound out of it now though. Heard very light noise in one channel for a few seconds after upgrade then nothing. Followed advice from another thread, the front led and valves both light up when powered up so I replaced the two transistors on the PSU board. Still nothing. Took out both TIP110's and 115's, they checked out fine as well. Tested all the diodes, resistors, still nothing popping out as a problem. Checked the remaining transistors on the lower board, they tested fine too. My original Musical Fidelity power supply did go bad so I'm running it off another amps power supply with the same specs. Should I just go ahead and replace both sets of TIP 110's and 115's along with all lower transistors or what? I'm out of ideas here and missing my x-can, any help appreciated.
