Hi,
This is my first post here as I subscribed earlier today.
I recently purchased an original version of the X-10D. Since I have no idea how much it was in use before I got it maybe it is time to refurbish... So, I found this lovely page and after the holidays I will order the -upgrade kit- for my unit.
From what I understand the latest version from 2017 sees a massive increase in the power supply caps from 10,000uF to 15,000uF. -Does it mean I also have to upgrade the external PSU to make it work properly or will it be fine with the original PSU that came with the unit?
Thanks in advance,
Kaufmann / SWEDEN

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your quick reply! While at the topic; is it a vast improvement to upgrade the external power-supply over the original? If used solely as an add on unit to an older cd-player, would it be night & day difference with an external psu?
Also, does the internal upgrade kit of the x10D change the measurements of the unit, i.e input/ resistance or output?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays. Cheers, Kaufmann
