Hello!
After trying everything to eliminate a hum on my Little Dot MK III, I'd like to open it and have a look at the board. Can someone give me or show me where to find some instructions on how to do this safely?
Thanks...

Yes, a lot of modding discussions on Head-Fi, but nothing basic about how to simply get the thing out without destroying it. The removal is supposedly rather difficult. I'm kind of surprised the process hasn't been recorded and put on YouTube with everything else.
Thanks for the suggestion nonetheless!

Hi there I once had a dot 3 that I sent of to a mate who works on audio I don’t know how he got the board out but it is do able. I was extremely fiddly and you can do it with out damaging the thing. If I can get hold of him and try get some info for you Regards

Just to clarify I do remember having a slight hum on my dot 3 It turned out to be the power socket at the back. Make sure it’s all grounded properly

Hi there Ok so open up both ends Disconnect the volume knob Take tubes out obviously Then it’s literally an extremely slow wiggling action From left to right. The board is very very tight in the chassis but it does Slide out eventually.its just painstaking. There is a double ground loop which could be causing the humming. I remember I would always have the headphones plugged in first Then turn on at mains then flip the little switch at the back. Would always get a little humming until warmed up. Could be the cables your using or could be the tubes. Have you tried with out the tubes in ?
