I've replaced most of the elco's in the x-lp. This is before the mod. Power supply elco's removed.

I can't finish the x-lp because I failed to order one capacitor. I will do that in a next round of parts I will order at Mouser. Replaced rca socket, power supply socket, diodes with UF4007. New diodes Capacitors at a funny angle because I misjudged the size and available space. The whole power supply section. From 2080uF to 13200uF. Recipi for disaster?

I already bought the parts so they had to go in. I did measure the space but yeah.
The x-lps is not that different from the x-lp.
You placed samwha 135C instead of the Jamicon TK 105C. I went for the Panasonic TP 135C's.
Were those green epoxy dipped capacitors original?

Years ago i had an XLPS, i bought a trichord dino which was better sounding When i upgraded the caps etc i got off mike, it sounded just as good as the Dino, more detail in the mids Dont have either now but worth upgrading the inside of the xlp, there should be a thread i started on the subject somewhere on here from years ago Paddy

No worries.
I havn’t used my xlp ar all for the last two years I think. My setup is so that my beogram 5005 is to far from my xlp that the sound is distorted. I think I should have putt my xlp close to the recordplayer and have a stronger signal over the long distance.
Soon I will be moving to another location and there will be another chance to get is right.
