I have a Sony PlayStation One. Fantastic as a CD player. Lovely analogue sounding source.

Heard a lot of people comment how good the old one with RCA outputs sounded , cheap enough too if you can find one .

I can only imagine how great it would sound if you had hold of it for a week or two with carte blanche to work some DIY magic. They are wonderful but I'm out of touch so not sure how they would compare with the current state of the art.

I'm behind too mate , not had time to do any DIY in ages so it's been on the back burner although still enjoy late night listening to headphones. I'll have a read up on these units see if theres any potential for some fiddling
