Hi I have been modding my X-Can V3 I was wondering about the bypass caps under the board. Is it worth it ?
if yes, What type of caps should I use.. MKS OR MKP ?
What are the values I should use for 100uf, 2200uf, 3300uf..?
What are the values to bypass the PHE-426 Rifa caps with?
Also the 4 yellow stock bypass caps 1uf and 470nf ? What type of caps should I use to upgrade these? MKS or MKP..? Should they be bypassed under.? With what type/values..?
so far i have done all the PSU caps, output caps, mills resistor and uf diodes mods...
But now I noticed that on power up. When I plug in the wall wart, even with volume completely down, there is a fading in hissing sound and pop into both headphone drivers . I don't recall this being there before Is this normal?
Should I plug in my headphones only after the start up sound occurs? .. It's about a 30 second process..
I do remember on power down, a whining sound in the headphones which is not there anymore. Is this normal?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.
