Arrived as promised and I have put it through it's paces.
Wider sound stage, more space around instruments and vocals. More articulate and extended bass.
In terms of value for money I would recommend it to anyone.
System is:- rega Apollo - MF M1DAC, via Atlas SPDIF 0.5mm - MF A3 dual mono choke regulated amp, via Qnect4 0.5mm - Moniter Audio RS8, via QED Silver Aniversary biwired runs.

Got one a year back making my Rotel CDP just a transport. Was using a Chord Prodac then switched to a Merlin Scorpion , not night and day difference but nicer.
Got it with an eye to using computer audio more..but, to be honest, I can't be bothered. I just thrash whatever I've got computer wise through my Ultrasones and that's fine, sometimes I like a grainy sound. Keep meaning to get AKG K550 though
One question though-the M1DAC has aes/ebu-does anyone have it with the matching Musical Fidelity M1CDT?

What is aes/ebu, how would it beneift my set up?
