from what i read the pa2v2 would be best at this price for grado's and ety's.
is there anything better below $100?
i will be using it to game with off my gamecube or listen to music (cd and mp3) on my pc via (most likely) a chaintek av-710 audio card that uses the envy-24-HT chip set and a wolfson DAC. ... i may go with the m-audio revolution 5.1 ... but i would rather save the money if the chaintek will suit my needs.
i'll also be using a meier audio diy bass boosted crossfeed.

Under $100 (£50 GBP) is quite tight if you're expecting half decent performance. I have experience of the B-Tech BT-928 and can honestly say at around $50 (£25GBP) you cannot go wrong and if all you will be using the amp for is "gaming" I wouldn't spend a penny more. A highly tweakable amp and not at all bad in stock guise (apart from the tone control and all you have to with it is remove it from the circuit...... nothing else just snip it out) A few threads for you: www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=178044www.rock-grotto.co.uk/B-tech.htmwww.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=b+tech+bt-928&meta=I got hold of one of these in 1999 and, to this day, am still impressed by what it does for the money..... plenty of them on ebay (sometimes you'll see a secondhand one for £15 or so) Good little amps and great with either low or high impedance 'phones.

would the go-vibe 5s or the pa2v2 be better?
i don't want harsh highs and having better bass would be nice.
