Hi, Humm ... I think ECL82 is 6BM8 correct? I think you might like to look into the elusive "6BM8 Club". You probably know of them already. I think they changed address, AGAIN! I will look into it after school. Big T P.S. I am back being a noob member again, so don't hesitate to throw me "bones." P.P.S. Follow the Japanese Speaking Wabbit. home.h00.itscom.net/6bm8/Too bad they haven't translated the site. I will try to look up some 6BM8 stuff later.

yep : www.tubebuilder.com/tubedata.htmlyou forgot the most "famous" value amp out ther-the ASL Wave 8 monoblocks use the 6BM8. www.enjoythemusic.com/magazine/equipment/0302/aslwave8.htmUsed in Pentode mode about 8WPC but triode strapped in the area of 2 watts class-A,more than enough for headphone use and plenty for nearfield speakers at the computer (or any speaker that can be driven by a 2A3 SE amp). One ciruit using this tube that you don't see too much but seems to be an ideal use is as a MU-Stage where the triode section is the gain stage and the Pentode element the load which should get you good drive and a pretty low output Z Oh yeah, welcome on board tomo.Good to see ya rickster
