Chris, That looks very interesting at that sort of price but, not being qualified to evaluate it technically I'll leave that up to the likes of Javier. But I did look at your linked web age and found this gem of 'Chinglish': -
"After near 2 decades of cooperation and integration with global audio technique and application specialists, Tempotec was built up with a variety of resources and acceded all of the experiences of audio application. We are trying to create our own road in indistinct PC audio field and to be a pilot of users to initiate a brand new idea in application."
I know I should not knock other race's command of English, being barely fluent in it myself, but I do wonder why they don't get their 'bumf' translated properly into English.

Dave,
When I was off travelling I met a Chinese guy who asked if I was going to be interested in any work proofreading Chinese-English translations for his company. I said fine and gave him my details (I'm a poor student after all) but sadly haven't heard anything back yet!
I also came to the realisation after spending a long time with people for whom English is not their first language and having to explain intricacies and exceptions to them that English is a bloody stupid language and people should stop learning it. Honestly, parts of English make absolutely no logical sense at all. No wonder the Chinese have trouble.

Unfortunately American English now rules the world, to the detriment of more logical language speakers . Dave.

The English language is ripped of so many other languages, and still is today. American English is just english spelt rong :-) hehe
I'll have look further at this soundcard, c-media chip, spdif out. I'm looking for easy i2s access without having to go for the top asus card.

Good fu¡ind, looks very nice for the price with some good components though being a PCI card it won't survive many PC upgrades. The onboard clock looks like it could be replaced with someting a little better. A good point is using the C-Media 8787 chipset which could probably allow use of Unixonar ASIO drivers, is not the latest but at the price more than good enough.
