I think Mike is your man for them. Pinkfloyd himself.

www.rock-grotto.co.uk/x-psu.htmIts just a transformer in a box and a lead to the xcan, you should be able to get the bits with delivery for £25 using a cheap case. Some routers and odd electronics use 12V AC, you might have an adapter laying about somewhere.

I think Mike is your man for them. Pinkfloyd himself. X2. I wouldn't play around with mains ac unless I knew exactly what I was doing. I was sent across a room once and that was enough to scare me. The real things are seriously good and deliver a lot of power. Generally, you don't see a Little Pinkie being sold unless it's going with a piece of equipment. I bought an amp with one as part of the sale, but all of my stuff has a Pinkie on the end virtually now!!

Just got the new pinkie from mike. Would highly recommend it over getting shocked and Inferior performance over a home made device.

Just got the new pinkie from mike. Would highly recommend it over getting shocked and Inferior performance over a home made device. They are really good units and I now have a few of them. In fact, I prefer to put Pinkies straight on to anything new. I bought a second hand Neco Mosfet amp and one of the things that influenced me was the fact that it was being sold with a Pinkie to drive it. Wonderful combo. Mike's suppliies really pointed out the importance of a good power supply to me as well; especially with tube amps. The added dynamic potential is there, just by adding a Pinkie.
