my schools theatrical department is putting on a play of tim burtons edward scissorhands, and i have been (sort of) tasked with finding the (and i qoute mr.schneider the theater boss) "concert sheet music" of most of the musical scores in the movie and i dont even know where to really start, google has come up with only string and piano whilst i need one with every thing. does anyone here know where i should look? (or happen to have some crazy source that has it.) it doesn't need to be free. the schneider is going to pay for it.

I don't know how it goes in the States, but here in Belgium you would simply go to a sheet music store and order it. I could point you a few in Belgium, but that won't be of good use for you, would it? Then again there's an online tool called google (sorry, couldn't resist). Typing 'sheet music store', returns for example: www.sheetmusicplus.com/www.music44.comand many others. In these stores you then search for 'scissorhands' and you would be able to choose from scores for piano, guitar, brass band, string orchestra, full orchestra,... In this case you'll get the theme from scissorhands. If you want more, search for individual tracks from the soundtrack. Hope this helps... Cheers, Marc

If in Coral Gables (small city adjacent to Miami) go to Allegro Music to get the sheet music.

thankyou for your suggestions, but it turns out that, with hours of searching by both the orchestral music teacher and myself, that the version we are looking for, simply does not exist in any way shape or form. what we were looking for was a version that omits all of the string instruments. relying on wind and piano aswell as drums to do all of the music. the theater teacher isn't happy about this (he had... somthing i guess you could call a fit of passion, when he found out) and told another student to write it up so it had no string instruments... said student blatantly refused and i am washing my hands of this assignment.
