I have a Chiara Headphone amp. I'm looking to wire in a switch so that I can convert some of the pre-amp outputs to alternative inputs. Has anybody any idea where I might get a very good quality 4 way 4 pole switch etc.

4-Way Alex, means rotary selector or individual toggles for each out with the former a WAY better option than the almost unworkable latter Four Pole/Four Position Rotary.Available everywhere

It must have been too early in the morning ,most likely before breakfast when I answered this. For some reason, perhaps the part about availability, and the lack of the word "rotary"in the question, I was thinking of a simple toggle changeover with both active and earth of L and R switched. I have used this before to give an alternate input . I couldn't envisage the Chiara having available an additional 8 RCA sockets/ 4 dual RCA sockets available to facilitate the other, as well as perhaps existing stereo OUT RCA sockets, so there may also have been a degree of 2nd guessing as to what the poster really required. I personally like both sealed devices to keep out any airborne contaminants and silver contacts just in case the contaminants DO slip by (silver will pass a perfectly good signal even if it is totally tarnished black And that for me means the Electroswitch C4 Series. I pay $13 US at Mouser for the 4-Pole/6-Throw that I use a lot and that not only should be pretty much easy to find on any continent but are miles ahead of the flimsy platic body/plastic shaft ty types. As a bonus they are HEAVY so you get added mass to your chassis for free !
