Please help a newbie. I have some shielded speaker cable. The manufacturer says the shielding should be attached to the 0v terminal of the amplifier. Where is that?

Please help a newbie. I have some shielded speaker cable. The manufacturer says the shielding should be attached to the 0v terminal of the amplifier. Where is that? why? do you expect large electrostatic fields in your listening room? Ok generally the case of the device is the "0Volt" or "Earth point" sometimes known as the "common point" as well, usually on the amplifier there will be a connection for this usually as a wing nut connection point but could also be a 4mm banana connectio or simply a screw terminal. care to elaborate on the actual setup?

Well, if you are going for the ultimate that will make a small difference as the interference noise voltage will be very much smaller as compared with the speaker voltage of about 30 to 50VAC peak depending on volume setting.
