No thanks. It has been praised by Markl. That's all I have to know.

Reading on Headfi, Sounds like they're the best dynamic phones to date, with a special, imo crazy mod (Markl), which personnally i'd be to scared to do.
I don't know if anyone has brought from YesAsia, but they have the cans for £370~

Reading on Headfi, Sounds like they're the best dynamic phones to date ... ..... according to Markl, but this clown is challenged in more than one way IMO. You could as well base your buying decisions on the phantasms of patrick82.They were both born in lalaland.Just read Markl's comparative review about different power cords and the related "day and night" differences. Harhar, I have to admit it's entertaining, but still ..... BTW, I have owned a Denon D2000 (stock and modded) and I've auditioned D5000s (Markl modded and stock). The Denons are quite good and dependent on your preferences you might like them but they are not the "best" dynamic headphones IMO.Not by any stretch of imagination. Hardly on par with the european mass produced TOTL headphones like Beyer DT 880, Senn HD 650 or AKG K701. Different strengths and weaknesses, and someone might like them better than the european headphones but strictly in terms of technical merits they are not on par with competently driven K1000s or R10s.IMO. Don't take my words as gospel though.I'm a guy from the internet just as Markl is.Let your own ears decide. That's what counts.
