does anyone here have experience with the ultimate ears IEM's?
do they create suction like the etymotic phones? this suction crap is kina uncomfortable.
oh... and are there any full sized phones noise that block noise and have pads athat are at least an inch deep? (that's how far my ears stick out) would the RP-21's with beyer pads meet my desires?

I don't have much time for the in ear modules Merton, packing things into my ears is not my idea of fun... maybe when I become deaf and have to wear a hearing aid but not before then! You could try the Sennheiser HD25/1 they've got nice thick pads and they do a bloody good job of blocking ambient noise out and sound pretty damned good too. If it must be an in ear module then have a look at headroom www.headphone.com/products/headphones/in-ear-monitor/ they give each IEM a good write up, may help you find a suitable one for your needs.
