As the title says... Free torch with every web order from www.rapidelectronics.co.uk I got one today and it's really not at all bad. It's blue aluminium with a high intensity blue LED and has RAPID printed on one side and www.rapidonline.com on the other side. You could class it as a rather prosaic version of a Maglite® quite similar in shape and feel. Comes complete with 2 batteries and has a big aluminium push button switch on the end. Very nice torch for free. BTW, can also be used as an LED tester! I tried it and it's good. The "stock" torch LED is socketed so it's easy to roll LED's into it.. great for testing LED's / seeing what colour they are. |

DAMMIT MIKE ! we gotta do something about this language barrier man ! That is not a torch but a flashlight ! THIS is a torch   one will at best make a person blink,the other take your freakin face off so closer to my idea of TORCH as in "storm the castle dammit ?! We KNOW he is in there !!!!!!!!!" |

yup, got my TORCH today with my vellman ear kit...
for a free TORCH its pretty good, usefull to have in my bag i guess.
so now whenever i need to use a TORCH, i ll have one at my disposal.

Here she blows.... well, here "they" blow   Nice torches. On the subject of torches Lidl have one on sale at the moment called the "dynamo torch" £4.99 Absolutely incredible thing with 3 x high intensity white LEDs. You wind it up with its handle for 60 seconds and it's good for 30 minutes of full power operation, no batteries. I love mine:  The Lidl torch  This thing would blind you it's that bright  Handle out ready for cranking |
