I know it has been done before, but if you look for these concrete blocks you can get a WNA amp and PSU in the cavities. As you can see a power block also tucks away nicely as well as a few CD. Under £5 for the lot. Gives the front room that urban feel. PS The room looks a bit bare as carpets were cleaned today.

Hi Kirk Absolutely ZERO waf though. I thought that. I used to have the blocks in my office so no problems, I then told the wife that I was going to bring my set up down stairs so I would get a rack. She told me she really liked the look of the blocks as it went really well with are dark grey sofa and chairs. She's been encouraging me to get some more for the tuner, what a woman . The picture does not do the look justice, have had a few friend comment on the cool look. Will keep you posted on how the DIY rack evolves as I am also going to need room for the Dynahi, may be a builders plank will come in handy ;D.

I've heard of racks as solid as a brick sh*t house but actually built from bricks!! Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs What do you play normally - house or garage music?
