I may be drunk (what's new) but what happened to the band "space"?
They were "out there" back in the 70's!

Quite a journey of discovery and they predate Jean Michell..... overlooked pioneers of electro?

Oh well... I still think, considering we're talking very early 1970's (when a mobile phone was a red box you had to walk to) that Space were pretty out there, especially given the less than space age gear they had at their disposal.
Didier Marouani = electro pioneer and should be up there with the likes of Terry Riley, Edgar Froese, Jean Michel Jarre, Boris Blank, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Daft Punk etc. etc. etc.
