Now that my V2 is pretty much done, I am onto the next smaller project. I have this EAR 834P phono stage sitting around coz I haven't listened to LPs for a long time. Well that's gonna change so here I am trying to figure out what to do to make it sound better. There has been a few guides on mods already over the years. here is the schematic: Things that can be changed: heater caps. mine came with 35V 2200uF. Panasonic FC goes up to 35V 3900uF. I am thinking either 2700uF or 3300uF. Those are the easy ones. What cap to use for C8, C9, C10, C11, C12? currently they are generics also. but need to find good 160v-300v caps. What brands/model should I use? 1uF output decoupling cap. Good 1uF caps are expensive as hell. Any suggestions? I already have a good 0.15uF for C1,

Come on man..... you should be leading, not "asking" questions You are awesome, a breath of fresh air.......... get down and dirty with it and post your findings. Have some confidence in yourself, you've got the answers, go with your instincts. Best regards, Mike.
