The guy must have balls made of steel. If I was under that much pressure, I would have well caved in.

The guy must have balls made of steel. If I was under that much pressure, I would have well caved in. Good that he has in my view. The current crowd of Blairites are wrecking the party for their own ends when the majority of Labour members support Corbyn and not them. The spineless Eagles woman will certainly lose if Corbyn is still in the running. The media, and particularly the BBC do not give him proper coverage. This is why so many people have a distorted view of what he is about. At a time when the Tories are finding their feet after Brexit we need a decent opposition that isn't fighting among themselves. I say this as someone who didn't vote Labour at the last election but would consider doing so if Corbyn was in charge. I don't regard myself as particularly left wing but I hate what the Tories are doing to our country.

Totally agree Chris, that Eagle woman is a PITA and if she became leader the labour party would be in an even worse state..... what on EARTH has happened to British politics and who in their right mind would even consider Angela Eagle as leader of a party? Oh, somebody has thrown a brick through her window: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/07/12/labour-leadership-angela-eagle-crying-jeremy-corbyn-nec-ballot/

From the piece you linked, Mike.
Dennis Skinner, who sits on the committee, compared the 172 Labour MPs who backed a no confidence motion in Mr Corbyn to the Union of Democratic Mineworkers (UDM), who he said supported Margaret Thatcher during the miners' strike of the Eighties.

It really is a disgrace, they're a bunch of backstabbers and Jeremy Corbyn is quite right sticking to his guns.
