Quite a few of you have logged in and posted a reply with regard to the "weather" question but why don't you post more often? You are all members but I always find it strange that out of 4000 members only one or two are active on the forum..... what are the other 3,998 doing? It would be so good to hear from you guys and the ONLY way this forum will become active, once again, is by each of you voicing your opinions. All the best, Mike.

Give it to me straight, I'd appreciate the truth.

My excuse: The son is home from college for the summer; aerospace engineering major, and both the wife and I have a break from our college classes; trying to finish our bachelors 25 years later. It's been a summer to catch up on some fishing and a few audio projects. Between 50+hr. work weeks and going to college part time, starting full time this Fall, time is very limited. Riding motocross is, by far, my first passion, then fishing. Listening/tinkering with audio gear following that. Having not ridden mx this year it could be said I've also quit that. Fishing has also taken a huge hit. At least one can tinker with audio while staying at home. One hard to swallow lesson learned since starting back to college at such a late age; we don't learn as quickly as we once did. The only way I've been able to counteract that fact is by a lot of hard work and time, lots and lots of time. Here are some other audio projects around the house. Finally got most of the home theater moved out of the shop and into the house. Had my very own private listening room/man cave until the neighbors moved in right next to the shop. He could tell what I'd been listening to from inside his mobile home. This is exactly what it looks like, a styrofoam panel with an exciter. Honestly, I think these DML panels have some potential but getting everything right seems a steep learning curve. Not sure what the rule is in regards to posting eternal links? that show the build but there is a lot of info out there on these. Here's a link to TechTalk with 900+ posts on the dml panels and audiocircle with 142 pages of info. techtalk.parts-express.com/forum/tech-talk-forum/64791-diy-flat-panel-speaker-love www.audiocircle.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=32tjkfmu7n4m1573qva9s4reh2&topic=70541.2820

Wow, that looks really interesting outdoorguy, no problems at all with you posting external links it would be great to see the build. Mike.
