Just wondering if anybody out there would be interested in a little comparison of the green Solo with a couple of other amps I have knocking about, namely an Earmax and a Creek obh-11. I realise Mike compared the earmax to the Solo 2007 in greater depth and with far more experience than I would be able to, and of course there is a thread dedicated to the Green Solo impressions but it was just a thought. I already know which one is best, but just wondered if anyone might be curious. ;D

Ok, I'm just waiting for another set of interconnects so that I can run two amps simultaneously direct out of the source and then I'll set aside an evening!

Insanitybeard Unless your source has quite a low impedance output, and both sets of interconnects are around half the usual length, you will most likely take the edge off the potential performance from both amplifiers.

Sandy, published output impedance for my player (Cyrus CD8x) is 50ohms. The interconnects will both be Cyrus items though one will be 0.25M and the other 1M in length. In light of your advice I'll audition the amps one at a time using one output only! Thanks, Paul.

Paul I also suggest that you use the same 1M lead (or a twin) for both tests Regards Alex
