Well, I won't be going to the recently announced London concerts. Never a fan but I do have two vinyls in my collection, The Kick Inside & The Dreaming.
Any appreciators of her art on this forum?

Hi, I think The Hounds Of Love is worthy of having in my collection but I have to be in a particular mood to listen to Kate as I do find her strident delivery a tad fatiguing. I prefer my female vocalists to be a bit gentler on the ear. I wish the wife would take note of that !

As a former college acquaintance put it 'You can't beat a bit of Bush!' 'Running up that hill' would have to be my favourite.

Any appreciators of her art on this forum? I liked it when she bent down.... I always hoped to get a glimpse of the real "bush"

Finding a bush to be "in" these days is getting harder and harder.

Even harder to "push" when you actually manage to find a bush that you can potentially "Push" in....... Halcyon days when we could push in the bush without fear of reprisals.....
Is there a good bush near you?

I got an alleged bootleg called Kate Bush In Concert 1979, but the tracks are identical to the official releases. She was quite a looker at one time - Pink Floyd groupie too - borrowed some of their sound effects, especially the walk down the corridor and door shutting (forgot which track). I had a small book The Secret World Of Kate Bush that described her ancestors in Britain in the 1800's, and how people who lived on farms would often go hungry while the owners or creditors would suck the life out of the farm. There was a word used in the book - 'apoplexy' - a euphemism used in the 1800s to describe a "disease" that children sometimes died from, when the real cause was malnutrition.
