Does this make any sense to anyone:-
I was getting buzzing sounds in one ear on my DR150s whilst linked to my Little Dot II Headphone Amp. I swopped the tubes over from right to left and the buzzing moved to the other ear. So I diagnosed a faulty tube and put out an order for replacement tube with Tony Williamson.
Anyway before the tubes arrived I was getting the buzzing sound again so powered off the Base Station of my Panasonic DECT Cordless Phone as an experiment and the buzzing dissapeared. If this is the solution why would the buzz move from ear to ear as I swopped the tubes over? Also the buzzing nearly always occurred in the evening but rarely earlier in the day (despite the fact the phone was permanently switched on) - any ideas?
The only advantage of all of this is I will no longer be able to receive phone calls disturbing my headphone listening!!

Cordless phone man.... obviously one of the valves was more susceptible to picking up RF interference from the phone.... another good reason why valves should be enclosed in a housing and not poking out on show open to all types of interference that may be passing by
