I do a lot of these still-life images, and the GM1 is very handy for this. I placed the headphone on the table at the diner where I was about to have lunch, and took these handheld with elbows braced on the table. Normally 1/6 second would not be recommended even when the lens is stabilized, but the combination of stabilization, burst shots, and elbow bracing did the trick. In fact, there were only one or two shots of the 12 each I took in those bursts that were less than perfectly sharp. I am very pleased with this GM1 camera.

I use it on my i-devices, and all the control I get is on-off - no volume control on this cable. The other cable is even more generic - standard miniplug. There's a review in the works. BTW, the source for this wanted a link to the best place to read these reviews etc., so I pointed them (mymac dot com) here.
