I am forever catching my pc headphone lead, ripping it out of the socket. I therefore started to look at wireless., and quickly became confused. Can anyone reccomend any light comfortable, reliable with reasonable hiss free sound, wireless phones? I would be using them for the pc and watching television. I have considered sennheiser 180, but a little pricy, and TDK 700, which had a good write up a few years ago, but is there anything better?

Well I took a chance and bought the TDK wr700`s. They work superb on speech, so perfect for the pc and television. I have found, using a headphone amp before the transmitter helps the sound no end. They didn't work very well plugged directly into my iphone, too thin a sound. Music will work, as long as you don't expect anything too good, but that wasn't what I bought them for. The ability to walk around without having to worry about the cable makes the headphones worth every penny

Same thing I noticed with my RS 180. A headphone amp helps. But with good wired headphones an amp helps even more
