It's not too clear what quality the CD is? The 24bit WAV files seem to be the way to go for best quality. Mike.

Hi Mike Good Choice The previews that you’ve posted make me eagerly await the release. The 24BIT recording should be pretty good if his other work is anything to go by and not leave another CD to stash in the loft. So all good Take care

OFFICIALY BLOWN MY MIND. Alex, please pass a few samples with your mods round.......... Mike. Hi Mike I did listen to the tracks , but most likely due to the age gap between us, they weren't my cup of tea. I later removed them from my Corsair Voyager . SORRY ! Regards Alex

Hi Mike Just been listening to Ambient/Chill/Electronica on the internet as streaming radio at 192kbps and 320kbps and Shpongle comes up a lot and I am now hooked. There are some great streaming radio stations from Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Russia. On one station I was the only one listening...Estonia, I think....and they had a globe rotating with my IP's city of origin highlighted above the globe and an arrow pointing to the city. Freaky.
I'm 65 this year and Shpongle is definitely my cup of Frostie Root Beer...hey, I'm a Yank.
Another group I am fav'ing is "Blu-Tech". Very involved and rhythmically complicated.
Right now...circa 3am in Detroit...I'm listening to the station named "Psychedelik.com"...at 192kbps on the Winamp player (stations are listed on Winamp). Senn 598's hooked up to a modded MF X-Cans v.1 with late Siemens 6dj8's and in line an Acoustic Research TDS-202 sound enhancer, coming off a Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-fi Go Pro USB dac...the AR TDS-202 the difference maker here. Mind blowing stuff...on now is "Green Beat vs. Hypnoxock" is the band and track is titled "Science Fiction". Shpongle gets lots of play on this station.
I envy you going to see Shpongle, Mike. We, in Detroit, have a yearly Electronica Festival, and I'll be looking for Shpongle next year. Thanks a bunch for adding to my knowledge. Check out the Winamp stations under the "Ambient" tab. Unbelievable finds...and at my age. Never stop listening everybody.

Johnsan/Detroit Ho Johnsan, I'm not going to be able to make the "one off" Museum of Consciousness premier in London and have already sold the tickets. I'm 700 miles North of the gig and decided it wouldn't be feasible to get down there and back..... I'll have to stick with their albums for the time being I'd love to listen to Psychedelik.com BUT the broadband "700" miles North of London is more akin to dial up...... we don't even get "3G" up here, let alone "4G"...... I'll do my best to hook up to Psychedelik.com tho' thanks for the tip and glad to hear you've been Shpongled They truly are class Mike.

Hi Mike,
Yeah, I thought I read a long while ago here that you moved way up there...somewhere? We take it for granted that we'll have broadband here in the city....bummer in your spot. I was always planning to move way up into Canada sometime later in life...hasn't happened yet, but being up where not many people are...has it's charm and attractions...not Black Bears, though.
Just got turned on to another internet radio station called "Hirschmilch" out of Hamburg. They have a spotlight on Shpongle now, with You Tube's and such. And listening to their "Chillout" channel..it's a good one. None of that "go to sleep" stuff. These different artist's tracks have major rhythms and really innovative melodies and atmosphere. You gotta get some broadband somehow....satellite maybe?
Wanted to take a mo' to say thanks again for the upgrade kit for my MF X-Cans v.1...even though I got from you several years ago, it's still my fav with the old type tubes in it. My friend, a local tech, used the whole kit and he then modded the power supply himself....love it. And the best for my AKG's...lotsa power. Thanks, Mike...

As I write this entry...Shpongle's "My Head Feels Like a Frisbee" is playing on Psychedelik.com, that I am listening to via Winamp. This is a really good streaming radio station.
