Hello, eHere some news about my small headphone amp the BRAVO V2 modded with the help of Fran ! It was quite good looking without any box but my wife could not see it anymore in the living room ;-) So i did some changes buying a black anodised aluminium box. I also get all the things inside one box now. No more power supply box there is inside the linear LT1083CP based power supply + 80VA toroidal transforer + bravo V2 PCB. The 317 are running with 2.3ohms resistors giving quite lot of heat! With the 2 LMs, and the 2 IRFs the box (40cmx10cmx6.5cm) the temperature is rising up to 50°C! With the two fans on i can touch the box. Much better like that. This small amp is really so great! Black gate valve is giving so much for the money : Amp 30$ + powersupply 80$ + box 25$ + 20$ valve It is very close soundwise to my little dot MKIII ! IT is used with HD650 Hold power supply: Old amp modded : New amp box:

Nice one, that is a fancy looking Bravo mate.
I assume you are pulling out air not pushing air in right? AFAIK is alway more efficient to extract hot air, BTW the only open port for air movement is through the vale (tube) hole or you drilled something else in the bottom?
Cheers
Rob.

oh no i didn't done any hole....it's just to move some air inside the upper rails....I could have left it without any fans but it's more safe like that. My 4 ICs don't get too hot, the case keep a "normal" temp to touch it without any risk and the tube itself have a square hole.
