I'm brand spanking new here, having just learned of your site here from head-fi. I'm in need of some advice . Its time to upgrade from the fiio e10. Tried the audioengine d1 and the new modi, picked the modi, so then i needed a headamp, tried the bravo d2, liked the sound ok, but only had i set of rca inputs. I'd like to be able to go between headphones, and my AE a2's with a minimum of fuss. i could go several different routes keep the modi, try another chinese amp with the connections i need, Indeed, Little Dot mk ii, some of the others ?? Or, possibly go back to amp/dac , the d1, dragonfly, hrt microstreamer, or the aune t1(has really caught my eye!) Budget about $200 US(the lower the better) lol Any thoughts, suggestions ?!?! (never modded anything) Thanks to all

For two hundred I would put the Musical Fidelity X-Can V2 on top of my list. Later as funds and time allow do the mods as per PinkFloyd (Mike) on this site, possibly getting a better power supply starting with the cheaper Jameco (1.5 amps) and perhaps later a Little Pinkie.
A second possibility would be an older HeadRoom solid state amp. Good luck.

The X-can is a nice headphone amp.
Although I now use a Grace m903, my first decent headphone amp. was the X-Can and I was very happy with it (still have it, actually).
