I have a few pieces of kit which I have not been using for some time. This is along with the Aune S1 which I have advertised previously. Before I put them on ebay I thought I would list them here in case anybody is interested.
Wadia 170i transport – This gives a digital out for an ipod allowing an ipod to play through a DAC. Further info available here - www.itemaudio.com/index.php/digital-audio-sources/ipod-docks/wadia-170.html. I also have a 32GB ipod touch (1st generation). Whilst I have not tried the 2 together (I use an IPod Classic) the Wadia specifications say they should be a good match. I am looking for £225 for the pair.
A Lite-AH DAC. This is a TDA1543 unit and more information is available here - www.tnt-audio.com/sorgenti/lite_dac_e.html. The unit has been passively modified and there are various other component changes but as I bought it modified I do not know the full details. I am looking for £125. I have found the TDA1543 is simply not to my taste as it is too laid back in presentation.
A Meridian 500 Transport. This is the MK1 version which whilst better there are no spare parts available). It has an Audiocom clock and psu upgrade, coax and optical output. It plays CDRs without fault (suggesting there is a lot of life left in the laser) and includes the 209 remote control. This is probably best collected as its weight a lot. It is a great transport but I have two Sony ES playerswith Trichord clocks. I am looking for £250 plus delivery.
I am open to offers on the Aune S1.
Please PM me if you want pictures or have any questions. I am in Lutterworth, near Leicester and work in Birmingham if that helps.
