Trevor is a dude and a long time pal. We may be competitors but we serve completely different markets so its a lot easier to put this kind of stuff behind us. I refuse to customize beyond a point because I dont believe it makes a difference. Blackgates measure worse than Sanyo caps on the bench so whatever I like Dale and Halco...pros and cons...I really want to rob Kevin Gilmore of all his titanium or something...resistors (forget the composition). Those are INSANE... Oh and I want Kevin's volume knob The idea is - everyone should be able to afford a Dynahi. And the basic version does just that. at $600.00 it smashes everything else...Trevor can attest to that. I read his impressions of the Dynahi and was initially cynical (no offense). Then I heard the Dynahi for the first time. He is right, they are all right...This is IT folks... Captain - your amp is INSANE I LOVE it...need a badass meet for Gilmore amp owners ONLY It wont be too long after that before Singlepower and Emmeline owners have their own meets Gilmore really pwned every other amp with this design. I am happy to be able to offer two affordable packages...

That's very fair, I like you ethics. Cap I think it is purely from lack of fear of money. Look at JMT for example...I draw inspiration from him because he quietly does his thing without getting heated up. Fantastic bloke. I am listening to the Grado HP1 out of the Dynahi. Now this headphone was waaaaaay too "boring" because of its accuracy (sacrilege) and the only amp that brought it to life was the Melos SHA. Now the Melos SHA has been pwned! Dynahi kicks this amps drivers into business like nothing else. Rated at 40 ohms nominal impedance (measured...not advertised) the HP1000 HP1/HP2 headphone drivers are notoriously accurate and leanish on the bass. Right now they sound like PS1's !! Gobsmacked! Everyone should have a Dynahi...doesnt matter where it is from...this amp just pwns!

I will be driving a pair Grado PS-1, should be interesting. Also have the Benchmark DAC-1 which I have heard matches very well with the Dynahi. Really looking forward to hearing this amp . Cap

Cap The PS1's will sound awesome with the Dynahi. Finally an amp that can kick some life into headphone driver coils without worrying about burning a fuse My recommendation :- * Get the amp * Get a STRONG drink or whatever gets you in the mood * Throw in your favorite CD * Enjoy!! It will be a while before you get back down to earth...

Hi Kirk I'd be interested in your comments on the dac. Rod This is a very fine DAC. Very transparent and detailed. It is a bit more clinical and less musical then the modded Emu 1212 I had before, but I don't mind that as it out shines it in all other areas. I did find it a bit bright when I used it with the RS-1's, but the PS-1's seemed to have sorted that out, they also fill the sound out a lot more thanks to their big bass sound. Very happy with it ;D. Kirk

You can play with my knobs at the next meet. I now have 2 gold ones, 1 platinum one, and a rhodium one.
I have enough material to make one completely out of depleted uranium too. Not so sure this is a good idea though.

Our motto here is not 'Sorry about your wallet' more like 'Sorry about your sanity' PS Rule 1 new manufacturers joining must send all the mods a free amp - and we're all mods - muuuhaaaa haaaaaa Rule 2 No trekkies Rule 3 Ignore rule 1 & 2
