Sorry, haven't reached that yet. When it comes, it will be back to good old army time of throwing grenades and exploding explosives and taking cover, men!

Some may see this as 'polishing a turd'. You might also call it a 'blunderbus method', no holds barred kind of thing. In any case if it sounds good (I reckon it will) you will never know how it would have sounded without all those mods, nor would you care probably as only the end results counts It still has a shitload of ceramic caps in there though You are doing a tidy job though.

After some drastic dressing of the wires, since they are SOLID CORE, fit testing again ............... Results not too encouraging ............ So adjust and adjust until the cows came home literally. Ah, results much better ................. Encouraged, more OCD excitement and so mission impossible started ................. Grounded but not stirred. Argghhh, how come James Bond came in? Must be too tired ................. I mean grounded but not in any particular direction .............. Fit testing and drastic adjustments again ............... Now the Mission Impossible 2 ..................... Almost cannot go in and I had to show off my muscles to Arnold ........... Tomorrow ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the Final Countdown for the amp hopefully if all things go well ........... Well, have a relaxing time of .................... before the countdown ................. Nigh, night and goodnight ...............

No worries! Nobody can claim to have the best Class T HA except me for the record whether it will sound good or not. Wish I can send this to you for testing and listenjng if you are nearer with the expected cannot hear the difference stance. Not surprising there.

It looks like you've been having fun super charging that little thing. It will be great if there is a positive effect on the sound too

Will report back when up and running again, sir ............... More fun than discussing subjective versus objective for sure and most important the CORRECT adrenalin flows .............. I wouldn't be surprise it will be like the bewilderment of the Mercs E280' driver when I overtook him in my supercharged Honda Civic 1.3L many mornings ago when I was on the Malaysian Highway to Genting Highland ............... What toy are you playing now? Arc welding?

The Countdown started ...................... The views are already past 266 after posting this about one week ago and the keen interest shows and catching up with the Horizon and Sunrise 2 .............. At less than USD 50 FULLY ASSEMBLED if unsupercharged and at least 2 W BALANCED and SUPER EFFICIENCY that will last and last like forever for portable HA use if needed as well by the objectivist, who is complaining except keen interest and the TRUE fun? Anyway, I got nothing to lose but everything to gain since I have 2 lying around unused. Internet silence again while I do the 100m sprint .............

Mission Impossible 3 ............... Left trial ............ Right Trial ............. Of course, now centre and soldered in! Put in the upgraded FKP to replace the outgoing Mylar ............ Waiting in naked to put in the XLR. Just confirm once more: Pin 1 - Ground Pin 2 - Hot Pin 3 - Cold ? Thanks while I carry on with a stunt HP mode to balance for trial first. Blown up, not problem as just a fall HP.

Almost there for test run and so the last 50m sprint to get the fall HP modified to balance .............. But first the wires and decided to follow Prof Frans' advice that there can't be any different in cable sound and so used the thinnest screened wires around that I have from 30 years ago when I was still in secondary school. The size is almost the same as the solder wire here for the FallHP cables ................ So done! Now the other end ............. Done again! So what else but ............

Darn a lot of work went into that baby, hope you are satisfied with the improvements. Personally I would have chosen the 4-Pin type of balance plug to save not only money but time. Enjoy it.

Yup, quite a lot of work into that and not completely finshed yet. Touching up here and there. So far quite satisfy with the result. The 4 pins xlr will have limited cable sizes that we can use especially when mini xlr are involved. Btw, what balanced HA you have heard?

Well, had been testing and putting the finishing touches to the class D HA and this is one of the projects that I really have the time to go the FULL MONTY OCD COMPLETION and not some mad scientist naked completion. Yup, whether subjective or objective OCD as I'm Zentech. This project really had no chance to try things one at time to hear the results after stability as too troublesome to always have to take the damn HA apart again and again as too small a space to work on. The only things that need to still work on, if practical are: 1) Change the pot to a metal film resistor ladder pot that can fit the space. 2) Change the ceramic capacitors to PET or PPS. 3) Shield the TA2024 from givng out all those high frequency switching noise. (Actually forgotten about it until the unit was already soldered back, damn it!) 4) External Output Resistors Box for 10, 40 ohms and 120 ohms. 5) Print a special logo for this pride and joy. All suggestions will be welcome. So the pictures flow with the music ...................... as usual ..............
