Magnifier

I had to repair one of my MSRxs today. Had to remove the main board and resolder the power lead back to the board. So ...... everything removed and I ended up having to connect the negative lead (which has a break in it) on the opposite side of the board because it was just too fiddly to get it back in the original place. I'm going to stick some superglue over the joint so that it doesn't take any more stress on the board every time I coneect/disconnect the battery.
That is one weakness in the Blades. They all connect that way and you tend to yank the lead off the battery so it can take some stress. Blade themselves cover the joint with white resin which isn't all that tough which is why mine went.- mind you 600+ flights!!
Anyway, doing the job is damned fiddly and getting it all back together so does anyone know of a magnifier that you can strap to your head (preferable with a light attached) to do these really fiddly jobs?
I have a tiny little 80x magnifier which I used to spot the break in the tiny lead - I could literally see the individual strands sheered off but you have to hold it so you can't solder while looking through it which is a pain.
I've seen a jewellers glass that attaches to your head but it's £40-£50 I've been told which makes the odd repair expensive. I'm strapping a fisherman's night light to my head at the moment but doing it that way with a magnifying lens is also cumbersome. Also, the lens tends to distort at the edges which is not too good for these fiddly jobs.
Anyone know of a good strap on?
