Hi, The two units you have will certainly get you away, as the majority of tests you'll need to do are voltage and resistance related. Current measurements will be handy in the future, but are not so crucial early on. The DMM you linked to is very nice, and would be a good upgrade in the future, if you feel what you have is limiting you. I have one of the dca units for transistor matching and it's brilliant, and would certainly suggest getting one if you are serious about becoming OCD on component matching (welcome to the club )
