Don't forget the dual SOIC to DIP adapters, many of the best performing opamps now come in SOIC and there could be a benefit in using shorter signal paths with the fatser ones.

Javier, will you never learn? You've roused my curiosity again . Any chance of a pointer towards what an SOIC does and how/why it differs/betters the normal single or dual op-amps? Just curious . Hi Dave, SOIC Is only a form factor (aka casing). Its stands for Small Outline IC and its's one of the larger versions of surface mount IC's, usually 8 pins (certainly so for opamps). Cheers, Marc
